LEGO’s latest Creative sets are here, and the company is celebrating in style: more than just showing us its take on jaw in all its razor-sharp glory, but has released a new tribute to the Spielberg classic.
visible in LEGO official website90 Second Tribute Recap jaw Brick-building glory gives us our first look at a new move from the brick-maker: a recreation of the famous ship attack scene, born out of LEGO Ideas, the LEGO crowd-backed fan design platform.
The set consists of nearly 1,500 pieces and allows fans to build a display piece that includes a complete replica of Quint’s ship, the Killer Whale, it features a removable roof that reveals the detailed interior compartments, as well as adjustable rigging, and a properly choppy water display base for its sailing… while it’s being chased by the infamous shark As part of the display base or on a separate stand. The set will also include three minifigures – Quint, Police Commissioner Brody and Hooper – as well as a range of accessories inspired by the film, including some key flotation barrels used by the crew in their hunt for sharks.
Lego ideas jaw The set will be released on August 6th, retailing for $150, and members of the LEGO Insiders program will have early access starting on August 3rd.
