There is a lot of feature overlap between Lofty and Firepoint, with both offering marketing website creation and content management, AI assistants, and lead generation and oversight. However, Lofty has branched out into transaction management, omnichannel lead generation, and most recently, property management.

“Firepoint CEO Dave Crumby is looking for top industry partners to help his clients transition to the new platform. Specifically, an innovative end-to-end platform built for today’s real estate professionals.

Lofty CEO Joe Chen said part of the deal was to continue to make technology a “cornerstone” to the success of the agency and brokerage business.
“Since our founding, we have been committed to innovating technology and meeting the needs of real estate professionals,” Chen said. “Our platform makes it easier for today’s hard-working agents to overcome market challenges and grow their businesses effectively. We are excited to welcome Firepoint customers to our community.”
Firepoint customers will be able to transfer accounts to Lofty immediately at no additional cost, the release said.
“Our customers have always been our number one priority, and as we close the chapter on Firepoint, we are confident that Lofty’s capable and dedicated team will take good care of our agents,” Firepoint CEO Dave Crumbly said in a press release. “We appreciate the team’s generosity in welcoming our agents into the Lofty family and putting their needs first.”
Lofty launched in 2016 primarily as a CRM, then known as Chime, offering a range of marketing tools, business acquisition capabilities and other forms of transaction support. Along the way, it has formed multiple strategic partnerships to expand in areas where clients need more insight, and continues to grow with industry peers such as Lone Wolf, Inside Real Estate and Follow Up Boss. Initially targeting agents and individual brokerages, Lofty launched in 2022 with enterprise solutions to help keep pace with the market.
It also has Closely, a customer-facing mobile app. The company is also the primary third-party technology partner for the rapidly growing Real.
Firepoint, created by Agent, was audited by Inman in 2019 and received four stars for features such as its modern website design and key campaign tracking.
In 2020, Firepoint merged with another CRM, Realvolve.
