A home less than a mile away in the 4900 block of Edgerton Avenue may have been targeted twice: once on July 11 and again on July 15.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that officers responded to incidents at the home on both occasions, but said a burglary report was received only on the second occasion.
In the first incident, two children and a nanny were at the home when three people broke in around midnight, CBS News reported.
Cervantes said three male suspects entered the house on July 15, but it was unclear if any property was taken.
Los Angeles rapper Blxst posted on Instagram last week that his Encino home was hit by burglars while his kids were home — even though he was out of town. The post included surveillance footage showing three men breaking into the home.
The incident was reported at approximately 2:47 a.m. on July 16, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
There were no reports of casualties, but some residents told reporters they were shaken by the incidents.
“I noticed there seemed to be more private security in the area,” one resident told CBS.
