Spirit Music Group has announced the appointment of A&R veteran Lou Al-Chamaa as executive vice president of A&R.
In his new role, Al-Chamaa will be responsible for signing and developing artists, songwriters and producers for Spirit Music Group. He is based in the company’s Los Angeles office and reports directly to frank rogersChief Creative Officer of Shengshi Music Group.

Prior to joining Spirit Music Group, Al-Chamaa served as Senior Vice President and Head of A&R Publishing for: Ivics USADuring this time, he played an important role in the reorganization of the company’s A&R and creative departments.
During his tenure at AVEX he signed several major signings including African music stars victoryhit songwriter/producer e.g. Jasper Harris (Tate McCray greedy), and gentleman! (Producer of the #1 hit “Doja Cat” now mountain). He has also established important partnerships with: Ryan Tedderof running music publishing.

Prior to joining AVEX USA, Al-Chamaa worked at AVEX USA for six years Sony Music Publishing Serves as Vice President of A&R.
