Shania Twain is an artist featured in the 2024 film and the 1996 film soundtrack. Her song “No One Needs to Know” was featured in the 1996 film, and her song “Boots Don’t” with Breland was featured in the 2024 blockbuster.
Most of the songs heard in the film were written specifically for this purpose, but Twain and Breland’s songs fit right into the film perfectly.
“I had written my song with Shania and was looking for a great opportunity to release it, and it ended up being a perfect fit for the movie,” Breland told Billboard. “It wasn’t something we wrote specifically for the soundtrack; we were lucky that what they were looking for was something we already had.”
