A serious dispute at a McDonald’s drive-thru in Florida turned violent last week.
FOX 35 Orlando reports Lakeland police responded to a shooting at a McDonald’s on East Memorial Boulevard on June 14. Police say 22-year-old Mickey D employee Chassidy Gardner began shooting at customers after a verbal argument.
According to the Lakeland Police Department, customers were reportedly angry because they felt their food orders were wrong and acting erratically.
Surveillance footage obtained by police showed Gardner arguing with a customer at the drive-thru window for a moment. As they left, the suspect threw a drink at them.
Two patrons got out of their car, pushed open the drive-thru window and threw drinks at Gardner. The employee armed himself with a gun.
The next footage shows Gardner getting out of his car and confronting the unruly customer.

Police said Gardner fired at the car as it drove away from the area. The vehicle was struck at least once.
Gardner was arrested that night and booked into the Polk County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
However, a day later, FOX 35 News reported that Gardner was released from jail the next day after posting $15,000 bail.
Fox News reached out to McDonald’s for comment but has not yet received a response.
