Media mogul Rupert Murdoch married for the fifth time at his California vineyard.
Murdoch, 93, tied the knot with retired Russian biologist Elena Zhukova, 67, on Saturday.
His engagement to former police chaplain Ann Lesley Smith was abruptly called off in April 2023, shortly after rumors emerged that he was dating Ms Zhukova.
The Australian-born Murdoch, a father of six, is chairman emeritus of News Corp, which owns Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, The Sun and The Times.
He resigned as chairman Last year, he became president of Fox and News Corp., respectively, leaving his son Lachlan to lead both companies.
Murdoch and Zhukova are said to have met at a party hosted by his ex-wife, Chinese-born entrepreneur Wendi Deng.
His other former spouses include Australian flight attendant Patricia Booker, Scottish-born journalist Anna Mann and American model and actor Jerry Hall.
Ms Zhukova was previously married to Russian oil billionaire Alexander Zhukov, while their daughter Dasha, a socialite and businesswoman, was married to Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich until 2017.
Rupert Murdoch began his career in Australia in the 1950s, culminating in the acquisition of Britain’s News of the World and The Sun in 1969.
He later bought a number of American publications, including the New York Post and the Wall Street Journal.
In 1996, he founded Fox News – now the most-watched television news channel in the United States.
Through News Corp., established in 2013, Murdoch still owns hundreds of local, national and international media organizations.
His career was not without controversy. One of his most devastating moments was the infamous British phone-hacking scandal, which erupted after it was revealed that the News of the World had tapped the voicemails of murdered schoolgirl Millie Dowler.
Last September, Murdoch announced he would step down from leadership of his media empire, handing the reins to his son Lachlan, who later became honorary chairman of Fox and News Corp.
