A CNN reporter interviewed two Trump supporters in Michigan who happened to be autoworkers. One of them said candidly when asked if Kamala Harris’s candidacy would change anything for them.
If Kamala Harris wins the presidency, “America is finished,” he said.
Millions of other Americans would certainly agree.

Trump has been very clear on the issue, saying the auto industry is doomed if the Democrats remain in power.

Trump and Harris are tied in Michigan, according to recent polls.
Hill reports:
Harris, Trump tied in Michigan probe
A poll released four days after President Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 race and endorsed Harris showed Vice President Harris and former President Trump nearly tied in the key battleground state of Michigan.
Harris and Trump both have approval ratings of 41 percent, according to a Detroit News-WDIV-TV poll conducted this week and released Thursday night. The poll, which was conducted among general election voters in Michigan, found Harris leading by a slim third of a percentage point — well within the poll’s margin of error.
The poll also found that 10% of Michiganders support independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr., with 6% saying they are undecided.
Among independent voters, Kennedy leads with 27 percent support, Harris trails him with 26 percent, and Trump leads with 25 percent, while nearly 18 percent say they are undecided.
Michigan voters would do well to think hard about what a Kamala Harris presidency would bring to their state.
