Reddy, an online marketplace that rewards home sellers for choosing the real estate agent that best meets their sales goals, announced its launch in five markets on Tuesday. The Redy online platform is now available to home sellers in Atlanta, Dallas, Orlando, Phoenix and San Diego.
Real estate agents Josh Altman and Matt Altman, brothers and cast members of the Bravo TV show “Million Dollar Listing,” co-founded the company.
This two-way platform caters to both home sellers and listing agents. On the platform, agents will have the ability to compete and offer the best terms for desired properties, while sellers can choose from a pool of interested agents they trust, bringing them closer to the sales agreement they want, And get cash paid agents for choosing the right agent.
Additionally, agents can select which properties they want to list.
“For the first time, sellers are paid cash to select an agent; therefore, the agent invests directly in the sale,” Altman said in a statement. “All agents have the opportunity to own local seller listings, which will in turn help them own the local marketplaces they operate in and level the playing field for listings. When you own local seller listings, you own local marketplaces.
To date, more than 5,000 homes have been listed for sale on Redy, and data shows that homes sell for an average of 12% above market value, with an average upfront cash bonus of $2,357.
According to a press release from the company, agencies using Redy can bypass more traditional lead generation sources, such as from Zillo or Real estate agent website.
“Home sellers can escape endless unsolicited offers and receive personalized agent recommendations and earn cash rewards simply by listing their home,” the release states.
“The core of the project is National Association of Realtors The settlement is a major revelation: The real estate industry has systematically disempowered consumers,” Shelly Cofini, chief strategy officer at Redy, said in a statement. “Redy is revolutionizing the real estate market by turning residential listings into valuable assets. We provide home sellers with unprecedented control, fair competition and complete transparency.
“Our mission is to provide homeowners with the tools to manage their properties and maximize their value. According to NAR’s own data, only about 1 in every 100 leads agents receive from major advertising agencies convert. In At Redy, we help agents secure listings, not chase leads.
Redy noted that it does not share home sellers’ personal, property or contact information with agents until they select the person they wish to work with.
