MSNBC recently discussed Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee and the process of selecting her for the top office with a focus group of progressive voters in Wisconsin.
While they haven’t come out directly to criticize Harris as a candidate, they don’t seem enthusiastic about the idea.
They were also negative about the way Democrats handled the issue behind closed doors and without any input from Democratic voters.
From Twitter/X:
MSNBC’s focus group of Wisconsin progressives didn’t go as planned. Democrats believe Joe Biden is hurting the party by not allowing a true primary and are terrified of Kamala Harris as the nominee:
Elise Jordan: “How do you feel about President Biden’s decision not to run for re-election?”
Focus Group: “It would have been nice if he had made this decision a year ago so we could have had a primary and maybe decided who we wanted to replace him instead of everyone flocking to Kamala Harris. ”
“By trying to clear the way and make sure it’s Biden, we’re not allowed to have a true Democratic primary process.
We would benefit greatly if we figured this out earlier so that we actually have more time for internal debate and internal democracy within the party.

Here’s more:
“I don’t like the process either. There are people behind the scenes making decisions for us. It should be a process. We should be part of it. In principle I don’t like this part.” pic.twitter.com/KFYYgFd9Ru

The media seems more excited about Harris than these actual voters. This is telling.
