MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell is having a rough day.
He was absolutely ecstatic that news networks, including his own, were running stories about Trump. He’s also angry that they didn’t immediately verify Trump, something the media has never done for Democrats.
Finally, O’Donnell was angry that the networks did not air a transcript of Kamala Harris’ speech in Michigan.

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell criticizes own network for covering Trump news but not airing Harris’ speech
MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell criticized the media, including his own network, for giving full coverage of former President Trump’s press conference on Thursday but not airing Vice President Harris’ campaign speech in full.
“2016 is here again,” O’Donnell said Thursday night on “The Last Word.” “The same mistakes are being made. I’ve never seen an industry learn more from its own stupid mistakes than American journalism. You can’t expect them to figure out in the next 89 days what they haven’t been able to figure out in nine years. The Thing: How to cover Trump’s presidential campaign.
On Thursday, Trump held a widely reported and lengthy press conference at Mar-a-Lago. On the same day Harris held a campaign rally in Michigan, she also gave a brief informal speech to reporters on the tarmac of the Wayne County Airport in metro Detroit.
“Donald Trump proved once again today that he is not smart enough to hold a press conference because he said something that was proven to be wrong in every answer to every question,” O’Donnell said, looking back. Most of Trump’s remarks at the press conference “know lies” and “lies.”
This monologue is very funny:

O’Donnell takes himself so seriously. It’s kind of fun to watch him lose it.
