Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., has lost faith in a “rogue” Supreme Court as ethics disputes fuel debate and Democrats push for a conservative majority ahead of November’s presidential election election issues.
“Do you have confidence in the Supreme Court?” CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked Pelosi on Monday, a day before the court’s controversial Dobbs v. Jackson overturn of Roe v. Wade decision on the second anniversary.
“No, I think they’ve gone rogue. That’s most unfortunate,” she replied. “But unfortunately, seeing further… what happened to the Chief Justice [John Roberts]? Has he gone soft or gone rogue? I have no idea.

Democrats have focused on the abortion issue in recent years, working to rally pro-choice supporters to the ballot box to protect their interests.
With the 2024 presidential election just months away, they are redoubling their efforts to codify abortion rights and point to Trump’s appointment of conservative judges as a decisive factor in the Dobbs case.
