Sony Music Publishing has promoted Nasra Artan to head of international A&R, effective immediately.
As Head of International A&R, Artan will play a broader role in leading SMP’s international creative strategy.
According to SMP’s announcement, Artan will be responsible for liaising with SMP’s A&R team to “strengthen internal capabilities, promote innovation and drive global collaboration initiatives on behalf of the company’s songwriters.”
She will remain based in London and report to SMP International President Guy Henderson.
Nasra Artan first joined the company in 2022 as European A&R Manager.
Since then, she has continued to successfully represent Sony Music Publishing Group, “landing significant new signings and fostering collaborations,” including the “SMP x BeatStars Hitmaker Week” global songwriting camp, according to SMP.
Prior to joining the company, Artan spent three years at Warner Music Norway, most recently as A&R Project Manager.
