A penthouse in New Jersey’s Gold Coast has become the most expensive oceanfront condo on the market in the state, with an asking price of $6.995 million, Inman has learned.
The penthouse is located on the top floor of the 48th floor of the 77 Hudson building in Jersey City. This luxury apartment building was designed by CetraRuddy and completed in 2009.
Diana Sutherlin of Compass represented the listing.
The current owner custom-renovated the apartment, which measures nearly 3,850 square feet and features four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. High-end appliances abound throughout the home, including products from Sub-Zero, Miele and Bosch.
Interestingly, the home features twice the size of a typical Jersey City apartment, with two kitchens and two living rooms, which could be helpful for entertaining enthusiasts or homeowners looking to allocate extra space for employees.
Other high-end touches throughout the home include quartz countertops, spa-like baths with Greek and chiseled marble, custom California closets, and smart home technology in every room. The apartment also boasts expansive views, with floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall windows offering 180-degree views of the George Washington Bridge and a corner of Manhattan.
The 77 Hudson building also features a variety of amenities, including a 3,000-square-foot gym, pool, hot tub, sauna, children’s playroom, theater, game room, virtual golf room, party room, and rooftop bar and fireplace.
