It’s a sign of Trump’s right-wing fatigue, as the conservative media has embraced Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and given him a platform.

Political coverage:
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s increasing presence on conservative media platforms is starting to sound alarm bells for Mar-a-Lago.
…
Chris LaCivita, Trump’s co-campaign manager, said: “It is alarming and illogical that some conservative platforms continue to give voice to those who call the National Rifle Association a terrorist organization and believe in Eliminate the petrol engine aspect, believe in the 70% tax bracket, and generally subscribe to the same school of thought as Karl Marx.
Two other senior Republicans close to the Trump campaign, who spoke on condition of anonymity, similarly expressed frustration with Kennedy’s appearance on the conservative airwaves.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s media appearances have mostly come from conservative outlets. RFK Jr. has been embraced by Fox News, Newsmax, conservative radio stations and conservative podcasts.
A big reason why Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has received so much attention, and it’s unspoken among conservative media outlets, is that they’ve been covering Trump for nearly a decade, and audiences want to hear a different voice. For nearly a decade, Trump heard the same talking points over and over again, the show and the audience wanted something different, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. had a different voice.
Kennedy also moved to the right on many policy positions, and his anti-vaccination stance was popular with conservatives. Polls consistently show Robert F. Kennedy Jr. receiving more support from Trump than Biden.
Trump grew concerned and lashed out at Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Truth Social.
The Trump campaign has a limited organization and little funding, so it is ill-equipped to withstand a third-party challenge from the right.
Trump faces a big problem with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and so far his campaign has no plan to address it.
