Clemson(6)
Selected players: Nate Wiggins, Luke Ojohoro, Will Shipley, Xavier Thomas, Jeremiah Trotter Jr., Tyler Davis
Overview: It was a very strong draft for Clemson, which will only help recruiting as Wiggins, a former four-star defensive back, was selected late in the first round, and then in addition to Ojohoro All of them were either five-star or four-star prospects coming out of high school.
The Tigers are strong defensively, with five of their six rookies on defense, including five-star Thomas, who has dealt with injuries throughout his career.

Miami(4)
Selected players: Camron Kinchins, Jaden Davis, Matt Lee, James Williams
Overview: Mario Cristobal The Hurricanes are recruiting at such a rapid pace that it feels almost inevitable that the Hurricanes will send more players to the NFL in the next few years, but Miami still needs to rotate in several less impressive categories before it can rotate on the roster. Impressive players to cycle through.
Williams was a five-star prospect who was hotly debated as to whether he deserved this ranking, and he ended up being a seventh-rounder, which was less than ideal.

Duke(3)
Selected players: Graham Patton, Dwayne Carter, Jacob Monk
Overview: There are rumors that Patton, a former three-star offensive lineman, could be drafted in the first round. And then this happened on night one that could be huge for the Blue Devils’ offensive line recruiting.

North Carolina(3)
Selected players: Derek Meyer, Cedric Gray, Devontes Walker
Overview: Chapel Hill’s quarterback recruiting shouldn’t suffer after Meyer became the third overall pick in the draft at the position, as some prognosticators thought the former four-star prospect should go higher.
In addition to Maye, who drew a lot of attention in the draft from the Tar Heels, Gray and Walker were both drafted in the fourth round early in day three.

Wake Forest(3)
Selected players: Malik Mustafa, Karen Carson, Michael Jurgens

Boston College(2)
Selected players: Elijah Jones, Christian Mahogany
Overview: Boston College hasn’t won eight games in a season since 2009 and its coach left to become an NFL coordinator, but the Eagles still included two players in the NFL draft. This won’t surprise anyone, but Jones, a defensive back who had five interceptions last season, went in the third round, while Mahogany surprisingly fell to the sixth round.

North Carolina(2)
Selected players: Peyton Wilson, Dylan McMahon
Overview: Only two N.C. State players were drafted, but Wilson, a former four-star linebacker, became one of the highlights of the draft when he fell in the third round because he was reportedly without an ACL in one knee. Wilson still racked up over 400 tackles for the Wolfpack, so if he can stay healthy, he could be one of the steals in the entire draft.

Virginia (1)
Draft players: Malik Washington
Overview: The Cavaliers only had one pick in the NFL Draft, which isn’t ideal, especially for recruiting purposes, but Washington had a breakout year against Virginia’s offense (which never excelled), finishing with 110 receptions ball, 1,426 yards and nine touchdowns.
Virginia could sell Washington’s success (he transferred from Northwestern) to a receiver recruit, but needs more numbers in the draft.
