With the NFL Draft now a foregone conclusion, it’s time to take a look back at what happened during this busy three days. Here’s how the Big 12 programs fared.

Texas(11)
Selected players: Byron Murphy, Xavier Worthy, Te’Vonde Sweet, Jonathan Brooks, Adonai Mitchell, Ja’Taveion Sanders, Christian Jones, Kellan Robinson, Jaylan Ford, Ryan Waugh tz, jordan whittington
Overview: Texas has a strong showing in the draft, made a stunning run and emerged from the College Football Playoff, and coaching recruiting is at a fever pitch Steve Sarkisian, who ultimately turned the Longhorns into a legitimate national contender. This draft class should only help recruiting, as Murphy and Worthy were first-round picks, Sweat was a big surprise in the second round, Brooks was the first running back taken, and Sander Si was definitely an interception in the fourth round.
With 11 picks, the Longhorns defeated their Big 12 opponents in the draft.

Kansas State University(3)
Selected players: Ben Sinnott, Cooper Beebe, KT Leviston
Overview: Sinnott has caught 49 passes for 676 yards and a team-high six touchdowns this year. He is a second-round pick, which will definitely help the Wildcats pursue star four-star tight end Lin Kang in the 2025 class. ·Recruit players when in Kuhl.
Bibby, a former two-star defensive tackle, went in the third round, then Leviston was selected in the seventh round.

Oklahoma(3)
Selected players: Tyler Guyton, Walt Rouse, Jonah Lauru
Overview: Guyton transferred from TCU and ended up being a late first-round pick, which could definitely help the Sooners recruit their offensive line — if they need any help — as a position coach Bill Bedenbaugh One of the best in the industry.
Aside from Guyton, it was a relatively quiet draft for the fast guys, with Rouse going in the sixth round and Laulu going in the seventh. Former Oklahoma quarterback Caleb Williams was a first-round pick and Spencer Rattler was a fifth-round pick.

Selected players: Brandon Coleman, Jared Wiley, Josh Newton
Overview: The three players coming out of TCU were fine for the draft, but it was a pretty low-key weekend for the Horned Frogs as Coleman was a third-round pick and Wiley was a fourth-round pick. Both were three-star players coming out of high school, with Newton being the fifth overall pick as a wide receiver.

Selected player: Dominic PuniAustin Booker
Overview: Lance Leipold Did a great job rebuilding the Kansas State football program, but it was a relatively quiet draft for the Jayhawks. Puni was selected in the third round and Booker went in the fifth round after having 56 tackles and eight sacks this season.

Selected players: Dadrian Taylor-Demerson, Myles Cole
Overview: Joey McGuire Lubbock is recruiting well and building the program, but it will take at least a while to get some of the older players out of the program as McGwire gets established with higher-level recruits. It was a quiet weekend for the Red Raiders, with Tyler Demerson going into the fourth round and Cole going into the seventh round.

Selected players: Javon Baker, Tyrann Grable
Overview: Baker could have been drafted in the fourth round, but that’s where the former four-star, Alabama receiver ended up going, as the Cavaliers only selected two players. Grable was the only UCF player drafted, and he was selected in the sixth round.

Draft players: Kingsley Sumathia
Overview: There was talk of Sumataia going in the first round, and the five-star offensive tackle, who grew up training with Penny Sewell and other elite players in Utah, definitely has the talent to be drafted. But for one reason or another, Sumataya fell to the end of the second round. This might be one of the biggest steals in the draft.

Draft players: Jovan Briggs
Overview: Briggs was Cincinnati’s only player drafted, taking him in the seventh round. The former four-star prospect started his career at Virginia before transferring to Cincinnati, where he totaled 27 tackles and two sacks this season.

Draft players: Patrick Paul
Overview: Paul was the only player from Houston drafted last week, with the former two-star offensive lineman significantly overperforming his rankings and becoming a second-round pick in the NFL draft.
Paul, a 6-foot-8, 320-pound senior in high school, really developed on the field with the Cougars.

Draft players: TJ Tampa
Overview: A three-star receiver from St. Petersburg (Fla.) Lakewood who converted to defensive back in Ames, there was plenty of talk that Tampa could go in the second round, but he fell to the fourth round. The former three-star star had two interceptions and seven pass deflections last season.

Draft players: Zach Frazier
Overview: Although only Frazier was drafted out of West Virginia, it was a memorable night for the Mountaineers as the former three-star star was selected in the second round of the draft against the Pittsburgh Steelers Feeling excited, now a kid from Fairmont, West Virginia.
