After all, former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley will be speaking at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. She will take the stage on Tuesday, according to her spokesperson.
Haley has taken a small step toward endorsing Trump, and her speech at the Republican National Committee will represent her complete surrender to Trump’s dominance of the party.
Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley served as Trump’s U.N. ambassador before challenging him for the Republican nomination.
When Haley dropped her bid earlier this year, she said she wasn’t sure whether she would support Trump. She later announced she planned to vote for him.
Last week, Haley announced her 97 delegates, encouraging them to vote for him at the convention.
At the time, a spokesman said Haley had not been invited and was “ok with it,” but wished Trump well. Two sources familiar with her plans now say Haley will speak at the Republican National Committee.
After Trump survived an assassination attempt on Saturday, Haley expressed her fear of the attack and said she was “lifting Donald Trump in prayer…”.
