Golf influencer Paige Spiranak will compete in a hot dog eating contest this week.
Spiranak, who has millions of followers across multiple social media platforms, revealed her plans on The Grill some hot dogs on the grill.

“I’m doing it. I really am doing it,” she wrote. “Try again this year to see how many hot dogs I can eat in 10 minutes. Guess what?”
Spiranak signed up to run against Joey Chestnut, who was forced to withdraw from this year’s Great American Eating Association for the July 4 holiday due to his sponsorship of Impossible Foods Top competition.
Then she posted a video of herself eating six hot dogs in 10 minutes.

Nathan’s famous hot dog eating contest will continue despite Chestnut’s absence.
Contestants on the women’s side are Miki Sudo, Mayoi Ebihara, Michelle Lesco, Larell Marie Mele, Katie Prettyman, Mary Bowers, Cherish Brown, Jocelyn Young, Julie Goldberg, Tandra Childress, Ellen Straub, Crystal Ocampo, Elizabeth Salgado and Rubianne Garcia.
