Noa-Lynn van Leuven of the Netherlands defeated Beau Greaves in Game 15 of the PDC Women’s Series on Sunday in Niedernhausen, Germany.
Van Leuven thwarted Greaves’ comeback in a dramatic 5-4 win and a third Women’s Series title of 2024.
Van Leuven started her campaign with a 4-1 win over Anca Zijlstra before defeating Gemma Hayter, Aileen de Graaf ), Robyn Byrne and Rhian O’Sullivan reached the final.
She led 4-0, but nerves got the better of her, allowing Beau ‘n’ Arrow to fight back and send the game to a shootout in the deciding game.
But Van Leuven kept his cool when it mattered most to score a famous victory in Germany.
Previously, Greaves averaged 100.48 points per game and defeated Fallon Sherlock 4-1 to advance to the quarterfinals.
The Doncaster hurler returned to winning ways when the pair went head-to-head again in the final of Event 16.
The 20-year-old beat Talita Biagetti, Byrne and Rose Mott without losing a leg, en route to a 5-2 quarter-final win over Paige Bow Lin, continue your quiet progress.
The Women’s Match Play world champion then withstood a counterattack from Kim Holden in the final four games to win 5-3 and set up a high-quality final with the same scoreline Defeated Van Leuven.
After six rounds there was no winner between the two, but Greaves excelled in the latter stages, finishing with a score of 72 before adding 16 darts to claim her fifth Women’s Series title of the season. .
Greaves leads the Women’s Series money list with £6,400, while Van Leuven climbs into second to build a £2,000 cushion over third-placed Sherrock .
The two top players in the final PDC Women’s Series rankings (excluding Greaves) will qualify for the 2024/25 World Darts Championship, with the top-ranked player also joining Greaves in the November Darts Awards. Qualification for Grand Slam.
The 2024 PDC Women’s Series will continue next month with matches 17 to 20 taking place at the Robin Park Tennis Center in Wigan on September 7 and 8.

The 2024 Boyle Sports World Grand Prix is the next event on the Sky Sports Darts calendar.
The annual £600,000 event will take place at Leicester’s Mattioli Arena from October 7 to 13, with 32 of the world’s top stars vying for the coveted title, ultimately won by Lou Won by Luke Humphries.

Unlike last year’s format, the semi-finals on Saturday, October 12 will be played in a best-of-nine-set format, while the final will be played in a best-of-11 set format on Sunday, October 13.
