Connecticut-based lenders, servicers and asset managers planet home loan Appointed Bill Shuler as executive vice president and chief information officer. In his new role, Schuler will focus on Planet’s technology development and operational efficiency improvements.

Prior to joining Planet, Schuler served as president of: WPS Consultant, a financial company that provides investment management services. Previously, he served as executive managing director and chief information officer Huidian Finance, multi-channel initiator and server. At Home Point, he restructured IT services, paving the way to increase productivity, reduce costs and improve business profitability.
Shuler has also held CIO leadership positions at the following companies: GMAC Mortgage/GMAC ResCap, National City Mortgage and Return home.
