President Trump held a roundtable in Detroit, Michigan, on Saturday to discuss issues facing black Americans under the Biden administration.
He was introduced by Republican Rep. Byron Donalds.

President Trump told the crowd that under his administration, Black Americans have experienced low unemployment and low poverty rates. He also told the crowd that Joe Biden was not helping anyone and was “just talking.”
“Joe Biden has done nothing for you except talk, it’s just talk, it’s all talk,” Trump said.
“But we achieved the lowest African American unemployment rate and the lowest African American poverty rate ever in my four years. We lifted 6.6 million people out of poverty,” Trump continued.

President Trump also discussed how open borders affect ordinary Americans, including Black and Latino communities.
“Millions of illegal aliens are coming in and they’re taking your jobs. The black community is hurt more by illegal immigration 16, 17 million. They’re taking your jobs than I was three years ago. , your revenue is down 6%, 7%,” Trump said.
“They affected African Americans the most and then Hispanics more than any other group. They also affected unions because unions started to lose control and they had never seen anything like it. We are being Drowned,” Trump continued.
