Following the failed assassination attempt against President Donald Trump and the successful convening of the Republican National Convention, his popularity on social media has soared and he is reaching more Americans.
According to the New York Post, Trump’s rise is reflected on multiple platforms, including adding more than 1 million followers on Instagram, nearly 250,000 new users on Truth Social, and 1.2 million followers on TikTok .
President Trump only joined TikTok in June, and his popularity has spread on the platform frequently used by young voters.
Joe Biden joined the platform months before Trump signed the deal but has been stalled on the platform. President Trump gained more followers in a matter of days than Biden has attracted since joining in February.
Last week, The Gateway Pundit reported that after years of scrutiny of President Trump, his supporters, and conservatives, Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta has finally removed all restrictions on the former president’s accounts.
