Primary Wave Music has teamed up with Be Forward Productions and Storyvault Films to create a documentary that delves into the life of Gerry Goffin, the musical mastermind behind countless chart-topping songs.
Primary Wave reportedly acquired a stake in Goffin’s catalog in late 2021 for $20 million.
Gerry Goffin’s career spanned six decades, during which time he contributed to more than 114 Billboard Hot 100 hit singles, eight of which charted #1. Goffin has written songs for dozens of legendary artists, including Aretha Franklin, Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Natalie Cole, James Taylor, Ray Charles, Whitney Houston, Kylie Minogue, Amy Winehouse, and his writing partner and ex-wife Carole King.
