The Salt Lake City, Utah-based Stratus Real Estate Solutions team of 60 agents will move to RE/MAX and change its name to RE/MAX Stratus, the team announced Tuesday.
RE/MAX Stratus will continue to serve buyers and sellers in the Wasatch Front region, the company said in a statement.
“I wanted to work with an industry leader, and that’s definitely RE/MAX,” Ernad Mehinovic, broker and owner of RE/MAX Stratus, said in a statement.
Mehinovic first obtained his real estate broker’s license in 2007. Mehinovic believes the RE/MAX franchise will provide his new team with the tools and resources to get results.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing how agents will benefit,” Meshinovich said. “Partnering with RE/MAX not only helps them do more business, it helps them do business in a better way.”
In June 2024 alone, RE/MAX received some recognition for its business practices.
For the fifth consecutive year, RealTrends Verified named RE/MAX a top brand on its 2024 Thousand People Rankings. Stephenie Flood and Debra Beagle were also named among Housing Wire’s Most Powerful Women of 2024.
In 2023, RealTrends Verified’s Billionaires Club list includes 24 RE/MAX offices with at least $1 billion in sales and more than $700 billion in total sales, according to RE/MAX data.
RE/MAX President Amy Lessinger attributes the recognition to the agents’ proactive sales abilities.
“They don’t spend their time recruiting or chasing the latest shiny object. They spend their time honing their skills, building their communities, leveraging their competitive advantages, and helping people buy and sell real estate. They do it as full-time professionals about this,” Lessinger told Housing Wire.
The acquisition follows the addition of RE/MAX President Realty to 200 agents in Ontario, Canada.
