Former Vice President Pence is very unhappy about Julian Assange being released from prison.
Assange, who has been imprisoned in the UK for the past five years after spending seven years in the Ecuadorian embassy, struck a plea deal with the Ministry of Justice that will allow him to return to his native Australia.

Pence expressed his anger at the decision on the X platform, arguing that Assange should be prosecuted “to the fullest extent of the law.”
“Julian Assange endangered the lives of our troops during a time of war and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” he wrote.
“The Biden administration’s plea deal with Assange is a miscarriage of justice and dishonors the service and sacrifice of the men and women of our Armed Forces and their families.”
“Anyone who jeopardizes the safety of our military or the national security of the United States should not be able to avoid prison time by taking a plea deal.”

The former vice president, widely despised by the conservative movement for betraying millions of his own voters by refusing to challenge the results of a fraudulent 2024 election, was destroyed in the comments.
Under the terms of the agreement, Assange will plead guilty to one felony count of conspiracy to unlawfully obtain and disclose classified defense information.
The agreement guarantees that Assange will not face any further jail time after serving a 62-month sentence in the UK.
