Biden’s debate defeat was reportedly part of a “soft coup” and a high-profile replacement may already be in the works.
The Daily Mail spoke with Democratic staffers on Saturday who said Biden’s debates were part of a setup to ensure he failed so they could eventually replace him with someone younger and more capable.
“There has never been a debate this early before,” a former Clinton aide explained to the media. “Traditionally, debates are held after the Republican and Democratic conventions in July and August.”
“People are increasingly convinced that this is a “Soft coup” Because they know he’s not fit to govern and have known for some time,” the aide continued. “They wanted to pit him against Trump early enough to have time to replace him if he couldn’t handle the situation. Of course, he did a fantastic job.
Another aide told the Daily Mail that Democratic leadership knew for weeks that Biden would collapse but kept it secret for fear of disloyalty.
“Publicly, Democratic leadership has supported Biden because they cannot appear disloyal to the president,” the second aide said. “But privately, there has long been discussion that he is too old to defeat Trump.”
“There have been rumors for weeks that ‘Joe lost the debate,'” he added.
The Daily Mail also reported that Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has taken major steps to potentially launch a presidential campaign. It turns out that as part of her preparations, she “secretly” sent an advance team to Washington, D.C., a few weeks ago.

Whitmer’s Republican opponent in the 2022 Michigan gubernatorial election, Tudor Dixon, predicted that if Whitmer bombarded the debate (which he did), Whitmer would replace Biden Deng.
