Remember when phone manufacturers were competing to make phones as thin as possible? This trend has slowed significantly over the past few years, but Apple appears to be on the verge of reviving it in a big way.
The company recently launched its new OLED iPad Pro. Apple uses the slogan “Thin and light possible” to emphasize that it is the thinnest Apple device ever.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple isn’t done with streamlining its product portfolio (what? If “streamlining” can be a word, then so can “streamlining”). Gurman claimed in the latest issue of the Power On newsletter that Apple plans to launch a “significantly thinner” phone in 2025.
