Biden videos:
President Biden said in part, “Our loss is different: He did not die on the battlefield, he contracted cancer from a year spent serving next to the army’s burn pits in Iraq.” Major who lives and works in the U.S. Army National Guard , like so many of you, beyond the toxic burning pit, the pain of his loss is with me every day, like you, still sharp, still clear in my service to him. Proud, as if I can still hear him say, “This is my duty, Dad, this is my duty.” Duty—that’s the credo my son lives by, and it’s the creed that all of you live by.
Republicans began attacking the president for talking about his late veteran son:

Biden’s son is a veteran. It is hypothesized that there is a link between cancer and burn pits. The first cancer on the Veterans Administration’s presumptive list was the brain cancer that killed Beau Biden.
Republicans are so filled with misguided hatred that they attack the President of the United States on Memorial Day for daring to publicly honor his own son who served. As the President said, Beau was not killed in the service, but in my opinion, that doesn’t mean we can’t honor and honor all the people our country has lost who are no longer with us.
