The Republican National Committee has unveiled the Republican Party’s 2024 platform, and it’s both crazy and dangerous for America.
Here are 20 points from the CAPS ARE RNC’s platform:
1. Seal borders to prevent immigration
2. Carrying out the largest deportations in U.S. history
3. End inflation and make America affordable again
4. Making the United States by far the world’s leading energy producer!
5. Stop outsourcing and turn America into a manufacturing superpower
6. Workers receive significant tax cuts and tips are not taxed!
7. Defend our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, and our fundamental freedoms,
Includes freedom of speech, freedom of religion, rights reserved and held
arms
8. Prevent World War III, restore peace in Europe and the Middle East, and establish a
The great Iron Dome missile defense system that covers our entire nation—all made in the USA
9. End the weaponization of the government against the American people
10. Curb the epidemic of immigrant crime, destroy foreign drug trafficking groups, and crush criminal groups
Violence and locking up violent offenders
11. Rebuilding our cities, including Washington, D.C., to make them safe, clean and beautiful

12. Strengthen and modernize our military to become, without a doubt, the most powerful military

There were various vague promises, such as ending inflation. How will they end inflation? They don’t say. House Republicans also pledged to end inflation, which remains if they win the majority in 2022. There’s a lot of talk about deporting people and discriminating against people and making it harder to vote, but the platform isn’t specific.
These are all weird, vague statements from Trump, some of which are just plain wrong. The platform points make no mention of abortion, and Trump’s plan is to cut taxes for the wealthy and corporations, not workers.
This platform is a joke, but it is a cruel and dangerous joke that will destroy the economy while destroying the lives of millions of people.
