Move up: Anderson is new to Rivals250
For Anderson, the big move heading into Rivals250 has been a long time coming. The Clemson product is 6-foot-2 with 32-inch arms and a 78-inch wingspan, giving him elite physical tools for an off-ball defender. Since 2018, 20 linebackers have been selected in the first three rounds of the NFL draft, including eight in the first round.
Anderson doesn’t have official stats to measure his speed, but his athleticism is evident when you watch the film. His game wasn’t great, but his production last season (over 2,800 yards rushing and 45 touchdowns) was astounding.
On the training camp circuit, Anderson showed the speed and physicality needed to be effective in space and in the paint to reach the next level. He’s able to pass the ball in close when the ball is in the air and use his long arms to deflect passes that most other defenders can’t reach.

Every time Carroll shows up at an event, he seems to grow an inch or so taller. Official measurements: 6 feet 6 inches tall, 316 pounds, arm length 34 inches Opponent five stars In June, the Alabama commit certainly has the size to compete at the next level. Carroll is quite skinny at 316 pounds, so it’s important to understand how he stacks up against defensive linemen with overwhelming strength. Carroll passed those tests with ease and is now examined for strength and toughness.
From an athletic standpoint, Carroll has the agility and speed to tackle or defend at a higher level. He looks built like a tackle, but he appears to be better suited as a guard right now. Regardless, there aren’t too many lingering questions about Carroll’s game, and he’s now one of the top-ranked prospects in the 2025 class.

Move up: Miles is new to Rivals250
Myers missed most of last season due to injury, but he performed extremely well this offseason and has the makings to make a serious run at Rivals250. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Utah receiver ran a state-record 100m time of 10.3 seconds and completed the 200m in 20.84 seconds. It was an impressive moment for a prospect of his size.
On film, Myers regularly outruns defensive backs and creates separation with ease. He has no problem fighting through contact at the line of scrimmage and has impressive run-after-the-catch ability.
Myers currently has Michigan leading his recruiting efforts, but he is expected to visit Ohio State, LSU and Georgia before committing.

Carter competed in a lot of competitions during the offseason and got better results in each competition, culminating in Opponent five stars. The Ohio State product won the bench press competition with 27 reps of 225 pounds, but just watch him one-on-one and you’ll know he’s the strongest prospect among the competitors.
Carter’s combination of speed and strength at the line of scrimmage makes him an easy candidate for reps. The offensive linemen assigned to block him will have a heavy workload this season, as Carter has a variety of hand skills that can prevent offensive linemen from getting at him. His size, strength, speed and skill have propelled him up the rankings.

Move up: Simon is new to Rivals250
A shuffle in the running back rankings resulted in Simon finding himself just outside the top 100 of Rivals250. The Texas commit has a physical running style and shows impressive elusiveness near the line of scrimmage. Simon isn’t necessarily a burner, but he has the speed to break down big runs. He reached the hole very quickly and had a good look at his run. He has the foot speed to make defenders miss in tight spaces and the ability to catch the ball in the backfield.
Simon is at his best running downhill, using his strength, explosiveness and vision to find the right route and break through the second level of defense.

Move up: Mills Knight is new to Rivals250
Mills-Knight has really helped himself this offseason. The bruising running back from Tennessee isn’t exactly a home run threat, but he’s fast and his short-area speed creates problems for defenders. Mills-Knight missed most of his junior season but still managed to run for over 1,000 yards and averaged nearly 7 yards per carry.
The 6-foot-1, 225-pound Mills-Knight has a bigger back and impressive explosiveness that could fool defenders. He’s also a very capable receiver out of the backfield, which should help him see action early in his college career.

Addison steadily climbed up the rankings last year, but in this update he made his biggest jump yet in the Rivals250. The Oregon State product from Florida is 6-foot-4, 291 pounds, with a 7-foot wingspan and nearly 36-inch arms. Opponent five stars End of June.
Addison’s arms are about as long as first-round NFL draft picks Paris Johnson Jr. and Amarius Mims. Even more impressive than his physical attributes, Addison has the speed and technical ability to compete with any defensive lineman in the country. He has the strength to counter powerful pass rushers and push defensive linemen back. Addison is also able to quickly change the direction of a counterattack. His development over the past few years has been very encouraging.

Move up: Woodfork is a new member of Rivals250
Woodfork cracked the top 100 earlier this year, but fell out of the Rivals 250 in the previous ranking update. Now, thanks to additional proven metrics, the TCU commit is back at Rivals250.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Woodfork is stronger than he looks and his explosiveness at the line of scrimmage makes it difficult for offensive linemen to handle. With an 80-inch wingspan and 33-inch arms, he can devour ball carriers. Woodfork also uses that length to stop offensive linemen from attacking him when he gets into the backfield.

Montgomery has shown excellent improvement over the past few years and this summer he is looking better than ever. Georgia’s pitchers have significantly stronger arms and plenty of zip on the ball. As a result, Montgomery’s timing is better and he appears to be able to throw the ball with more consistent accuracy. He completed nearly 69 percent of his passes as a junior, and he’s capable of doing the same thing again this fall.

Move up: 92 places
Gibson has now moved up over 90 spots in the Rivals250 rankings for the second consecutive update. The talented Georgia defensive end has all the tools a college coach needs. Gibson is 6-foot-4, weighs nearly 250 pounds, has a 7-foot wingspan, and has a 36-inch arm length and a 40-second time of 4.7 seconds.
On the field, Gibson was too fast, too aggressive, and too powerful for offensive linemen to handle. He has a good understanding of hand techniques against the pass rush and against the run. Gibson can line up all over the defensive line and fight double teams. Gibson is also impressive in how well he pursues the ball carrier.
