Shaike Mills Knight is one step closer to confirming his college decision.
Mills-Knight is the seventh-ranked running back in the Rivals250 class of 2025 recruiting class at Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tenn., which has been whittled down to five finalists and has a date set to announce his commitment.
When Mills-Knight reveals his decision, he will choose from Mississippi State, Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee and Miami Saturday, August 17th.
Over the summer, two SEC programs have been keeping up with Mills-Knight
“I feel like the teams that need me the most are Mississippi State and Auburn,” Mills-Knight told Rivals this summer. “When I came to campus, they showed me love consistently. They hit me a lot and told me I needed to be there and that they wanted me.”
Here’s more about his five finalists:
Auburn
“They’ve been going the extra mile since my official visit. They always tell me they’re going to do whatever it takes to get me. I love their culture and I love that the Knicks coach can call the shots because he’s the head coach, Coach RB. They have a great alumni base and put me in the mix with NFL legends. Ronnie Brown They had a really good network after football and gave me a great education in what I wanted to be (a financial advisor).

“I’ve been at Tennessee for a year and I’ve been told nothing but love. Why should I leave? They have a strong recruiting class and the relationships I have with the coaches. (derailed) Sims have He’s been elite since his days at Cincinnati and I get along well with the coach Walter (Wells) Also. I like their offensive scheme – it gets the running backs to make big runs in the open field.”
this is alabama
“Bama is the standard that everyone knows about Bama and everyone tries to beat Bama. The power of Script A is different… Everywhere you go, it’s a worldwide brand and they know Bama.” Horse ‘Roll Tide’…the way they compete shows to me that they mean business and will always be a top team drafting quality RBs year in and year out and that means room The level of competition here will improve my game.
This is Ole Miss
“Their offense is very good, their offense has been in the top five for many years. Their position coaches (Kevin) Smith and (Enrique) Davis There were people who did this before, so what they taught was different. I can learn a lot and I like the program they have in me. The Mississippi College football team is the most interesting. This was my first proposal and it has been a show of love ever since.

“I went on an unofficial visit and then an official visit and it was by far the best visit I’ve ever had. I don’t think anyone can compete with a lot of things out there. The coaching jobs there are great. Coach Dub and Coach (Matt) Merritt They were all elite people who showed love and I felt right at home there. The weather was great and it was close to my parents’ hometown of Jamaica, where they played a lot.
