Hackensack, New Jersey – There’s a lot of talent from Northeast New Jersey attending Under Armor training camp this weekend. Get the latest on recruiting, upcoming visits and commitment dates from several prospects in attendance.
Brickell, a four-star defensive lineman out of Penn State, has a long offer list, but Oklahoma State has begun to attract his attention. Sooners defensive line coach’s efforts Todd Bates Maintaining and building a relationship with Brickell caught his attention. Brickell hopes to make a few visits before the season starts, with Penn State, Alabama and Ohio State among potential destinations. Look for Brickle’s top 10 for the upcoming season.

Bourne’s spring has been filled with unofficial visits, and now he’s preparing for an official visit. Florida State will invite Bourne for an official visit. It is currently scheduled for June 14, but he may postpone it to June 7. The Nittany Lions are his top team. Texas A&M, Michigan State and Clemson could also invite Bourne for official visits, but those plans have not yet been finalized. Byrne hopes to get to know the players at each program he takes official visits to and see how he would fit in there before making a decision, which should be made in June or July.

Cyrus’ official visit is coming soon. The Penn State native will take an official visit to Penn State on May 31, followed by an official visit to South Carolina. To be fair, those two programs are Cyrus’ top contenders, but Oregon State, Miami and Texas A&M are also on the list to receive official visits.

One of the most important pieces of Rutgers’ 2025 recruiting class, Dorelas launched his commitment in late March. He loves the in-state program and feels like it’s a good fit for him on and off the field. Dorelas said he also has a good relationship with the coaching staff. He will take an official visit on May 31, but is also scheduled to visit Miami on June 8. The Canes recently made an offer and the two sides are still learning more about each other.

Foster’s recruitment is about to reach a new high. The four-star running back from New Jersey will begin his official visit to Rutgers on May 31. state.
Wisconsin and Rutgers should like where they stand now with Foster. The in-state program has a very strong connection with Foster and he feels comfortable on campus. Foster took an unofficial visit to Wisconsin in Madison a few weeks ago and liked what he saw. The workout focused heavily on physicality and efficiency, and the offensive linemen were impressed.

Funk is one of the top linebacker prospects in New England in the 2026 class. Wake Forest, Boston College, Wisconsin, Rutgers and Syracuse have performed well in his recruitment so far. Funk liked the coaches at Wake Forest and Rutgers. Programs across the country are already making Merrill Lynch a priority for their 2026 graduates. The four-star Penn State native emphasized that his favorite trips to date have been spring trips to Notre Dame, Alabama, Georgia and Michigan. He enjoys experiencing daily life on every project. Michigan will have him back for a visit during barbecue weekend this summer, but this is the only visit Merrill has scheduled so far.

Ohio State added Stewart’s commitment in late March, and while Michigan State, Penn State and Florida State have still shown interest in him, he hasn’t looked elsewhere since. Stewart is in constant communication with the Ohio State coaching staff and engaging with their fan base more frequently. Stewart is expected to take an official visit to Columbus on June 14 or 21.

Thomas performed well in the game Rival Training Camp Series in Charlotte earlier this offseason and has since received offers from Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia and Oklahoma. On Sunday, Thomas said he was excited about all four projects and wanted to learn more about each. However, his recruitment process is still in the early stages. Thomas should take more visits before taking his contenders seriously. Georgia, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Oklahoma State are just some of the programs he wants to visit.

Washington is preparing for the final push in recruiting. His official visit schedule begins on May 31, first with the University of Central Florida, then to Syracuse on June 7 and then to Maryland on June 21. In preparation, but not yet confirmed. Washington is considering making a commitment shortly after an official visit in early July. He hasn’t declared himself a leader just yet, but he spoke very highly of Virginia Tech after an official visit to Blacksburg for the spring game in mid-April.

Williams committed to Syracuse in March and plans to stick with the program there. He was in regular contact with the coaching staff and felt like they really loved him. Williams is very fond of new head coach Fran Brown and the entire coaching staff. Since his commitment, Purdue and Vanderbilt have offered him, and Rutgers and Virginia have also been in contact. Williams has not closed communication with other programs, but he said he remains in contact with Syracuse.
