Samsung’s upcoming Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 may be officially unveiled on July 10 during the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event. But a new leak lays out almost everything there is to know about both phones.
Shortly after sharing official images of the two devices, leaker Evan Blass shared an official teaser for the two devices on his Substack newsletter.
It contains the highlights of Samsung’s new phone, as well as a full specs list down to almost every detail. Here are the highlights.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 features a 7.6-inch internal screen and a 6.3-inch external screen, 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 4,400mAh battery. It is powered by an octa-core processor and has a 50/12/10-megapixel main camera system on the outside with 3x optical zoom and a 10-megapixel selfie front lens on the inside, plus a 4-megapixel lower camera.
Mix and match speed of light
Beyond the specs themselves, perhaps the most interesting part is how Samsung’s new phone compares to previous Z Fold models. It highlights how thin and light the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is, weighing only 239 grams, compared to the Z Fold 5’s 253 grams. At just 12.1mm) when folded (compared to the Z Fold 5’s 13.4mm), Samsung achieved this without reducing battery capacity.
Other notable details include new ultra-thin flex hinges, improved Armor aluminum frame, and IP48 waterproofing.

Based on the specs in the promo sheet, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is a different kind of upgrade. Just like the Z Flip 5, it has a 3.4-inch external display and a 6.7-inch internal display, and folds down to a hair-thin size (14.9mm, compared to 15.1mm on its predecessor).
But the Z Flip 6 has a larger 4,000mAh battery, an upgraded main camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor, and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. It also comes with an octa-core processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.
We’ll find out on July 10th if Samsung has any more information about these phones.
