Sean Hannity tried to get Trump to say he didn’t want to use the presidency to retaliate, but Trump refused to do so.

Hannity asked: “What have you done to the Democratic Party that people claim you want? Would you do it?”
Trump responded: “Look what’s happening to me has never happened before in this country. It has to stop because —”
Sean Hannity stopped him, “Wait a minute, I want to hear it again. It has to stop.”
Trump continued, “It really has to stop because we’re not going to have a country.”
Hannity continued working, “What does this mean by definition?”
Trump still doesn’t understand, “Well, I’ve been through what. No one has been through that. Well, I’m a very legitimate person. I built a great business. That’s all gone and I’ve been mobbed. Now. No one has ever seen anything like this in this country, other countries, other third world countries or banana republics, as they say, banana republics, we have become a banana republic on the border we have become a banana republic with our country. A lot of other elements. We’ve become a banana republic. You see what’s happening with inflation. What we have is, I think, maybe 50% if you add everything up. , when you start adding in uh energy prices, when you start adding in interest rates, interest rates have gone from 2% to 9% and 10%.
Hannity tried again, “focusing on those who want people to believe that you want revenge, that you will use the justice system to go after your political opponents.”
Trump blew it all up, “It has to stop or we’re not going to have a country. Look when this election is over based on what they’ve done. I have every right to go after them.”
Even Sean Hannity can’t get Trump to pretend he won’t use the presidency to go after his political opponents. Trump doesn’t hide this. He’s telling anyone who will listen what he plans to do if he wins.
Trump was humiliated by the trial and felony conviction, and he wanted revenge.
Donald Trump doesn’t want to govern. He wants to punish those who dare to hold him accountable. The exchange with Hannity was a disaster and should be a political ad visible to all voters.
