Women’s tennis, like Williams, has grown in the 18 months since she left the court, with Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff Gauff and Elena Rybakina formed a new “Big Four” that pushed women’s tennis to new heights.
If Serena is to come back, she better need to be 100 percent healthy and ready to compete with the best.
Her last Grand Slam singles title came in 2017, but despite her continued efforts, she could not match 24-time Grand Slam winner Margaret Court.
