Some people are reporting that Pixel 6, 6 Pro, and 6A phones are bricked after a factory reset. According to comments from members of the Product Expert Program on the Pixel Support Forum, Google is aware of the issue and is investigating.

The phone offers an option to retry, which reportedly fails, or to try a factory reset again, but during the wipe process, a separate error appears indicating that the phone is missing a file called tune2fs, which appears to refer to the file used with A Unix command-line tool that performs the following operations: Set file system parameters.
Some people have reported seeing this issue after updating their phones, but these complaints appear to stem from a factory reset rather than a specific software update. A Reddit member compiled complaints about the issue across all three Pixel 6 phones, with some users who experienced the issue saying they were unable to restore their phones using Google’s official tools.
