We’re in a time where anything old can come back, often completely unexpectedly. If you need to know the width of this net, it looks like darksiders Is the franchise coming back to video games?
On Friday afternoon, THQ Nordic released a trailer for the upcoming game. One features three motionless stone creatures known as the “Scorched Council,” whose eyes glow with fire and utter the word “Knight.” Cut to black, and then the slogan: “Ready to ride again.” Is this a remaster, or an entirely new game? Not sure, but ruins 2 Developer Gunfire Games (who previously helmed Darksiders III) will lead the project, which currently has no release window or expected console.

Darksiders II and three, is a parallel sequel starring Knight Death and Fury respectively, while Clash co-stars War in the 2020 prequel Darksiders: Genesis. Other than that, the series is very comic book-esque. combat chaser Artist Joe Madureira co-directed and co-wrote the first two games and designed the characters. Each title also changed genre; the first two games were affected god of war and Sarda, Inspired by Metroidvania and Souls-like games darksiders 3, and Genesis is driven from the top down diablo.
Several older games have resurfaced after long periods of silence, but none have failed to deliver on their promise as consistently as this. darksiders. If Gunfire and THQ want to bring it back to life, by all means, let’s just keep the series moving forward and stop dragging players down, right?
