Splice subscribers can now upload their own original loops, integrating their unique sounds with Splice’s sample library.
The music creator platform is rolling out a new feature called “Create with your own loop.” Previously, Splice’s artificial intelligence-driven “create” The inspiration engine focuses on matching sounds within the platform’s extensive library, which offers more than 300 Instruments and spans 130 Unique music genre.
The update now allows users to use their own voice as a starting point for music creation.
The feature was developed in partnership with platinum-selling record producers, ZaitovenKnown for his collaborations with artists such as Usher, Gucci Mane, Future, Jack Harlow and The Weeknd.
Zaytoven shared his experience with the new tool, saying, “It broadened my horizons. It helped me spark ideas. I made a lot of beats. A lot of times I could make them sound similar because I made a lot of beats.” .This helps me expand and think outside of what I normally do.
Through the new “Build Your Own Loop” feature, users can upload their own personal loops to the Splice platform. The Create engine then analyzes the sounds and builds a “stack” of compatible sounds from the Splice library in seconds. Splice says the proposed backbone is “artificial” and can then be exported to a digital audio workstation (DAW).

This update marks Splice’s latest offering designed to enhance user experience. This follows a recent update to the Splice mobile app that introduced features such as the Bridge to Desktop app, which are also designed to increase creativity and enhance workflow.
Back in March, Splice launched a new mobile experience that allows creators to browse, listen to and create music directly from their mobile phones. Splicing mobileNow available on iOS and Android, it combines the company’s sample library with its Create technology.
