SpaceX’s Starlink Mini dish — Elon Musk says “will change the world”—Now available to anyone in the United States. This small space networking kit cleverly combines a dish antenna and Wi-Fi router into a weatherproof package that is significantly smaller and consumes less power than previous Starlink kits. This laptop-sized all-in-one dish can even be powered directly by a 100W (20V/5A) USB-PD power bank.
Initially, Starlink Mini will only be available as an add-on to current residential customers in the United States. Now, just weeks away from launch, it’s available to a wide range of shoppers and digital nomads looking to stay connected no matter where they set up shop.
Starlink Mini hardware costs $599 and offers regional and mini roaming services. In North America, the regional cost for unlimited portable data is $150 per month, with the option to pay per GB used on the go. Mini Roam costs just $50 per month, but is limited to 50GB of portable or dynamic data across the continent, with additional data charged per GB. Both services can be paused between adventures.
