Stephen Colbert pointed out that Alito claims that Supreme Court justices are neutral, but Alito cannot be neutral if he supports the insurrectionists.

colbert says:
You may recall that Alito got into some trouble when it was discovered after January 6 that he had an upside-down American flag hanging outside his home to display the symbol of the “Stop the Steal” movement. Alito took a stand and blamed the incident on his wife. The dispute is over. Then it started again. Because we now know that a second flag carried by rioters on January 6 was flown outside another house owned by Judge Alito. That’s right, a second flag for a second home. Alito’s second wife better watch out.
…
Speaker Mike Johnson also flew the flag outside his office. When asked about it, he said: “This is George Washington’s flag. This has nothing to do with stopping theft. Yes, it does! You can’t when an almost forgotten symbol is brought back and widely adopted.” Use it the old way. If a guy named Brandon says, “Actually, this swastika above my bed refers to the ancient Sanskrit symbol for good luck,” he’s a Nazi, Cheryl! Get out of there! I don’t care if he has a fresh haircut. You know, fresh hair.
In addition, Mike Johnson is also a political figure. It would be one thing if he wanted to fly the team flag. I mean, if Aaron Judge wears a Yankees jersey there’s nothing wrong with it, but if the umpire wears a Yankees jersey that’s different! Balls and strikes, right? Balls and strikes.

Colbert is right. Alito is one of the justices in the conservative majority who continually tells the American people that the Supreme Court is neutral. Alito has always held high the banner of supporting Trump in overthrowing the US government.
It is impossible for judges to remain neutral when they fly flags in their homes that support the destruction of democracy.
Justice Alito’s problems are so serious that he has now entered pop culture territory on late-night talk shows, and when corruption on the Supreme Court comes up on late-night talk shows, it’s never a good thing for the Supreme Court A good sign.
