Stephen Colbert flawlessly beats Trump’s ticket to Republican convention

Stephen Colbert described Trump’s appearance on the second night of the Republican convention as “Rocky Balboa” if Rocky fought for Russia.

Colbert said:

Around nine o’clock in the evening, that was it. Trump enters the arena like Rocky Balboa. If, if Loki fought for Russia, he should have come later. this is true. But Trump changed his schedule and attended early to hear speeches from Nikki Haley and Rhonda DeSantis. Yes. The former president changed his entire schedule so he could drink Diet Coke from a Chris Christie skull goblet while watching his defeated opponent be forced to sing his praises.

Trump is so weak and shallow that he changed his schedule to hear Haley and DeSantis praise him. Trump still wears ridiculous cartoon bandages on his ears, and speakers on the second night claimed that God chose to save Trump over all the innocent people killed by gun violence every year.

Donald Trump’s national convention was a mix of pity party, apotheosis, and delusional pep rally.
