Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is famous for being super concerned about climate change, but that apparently hasn’t stopped him from sailing around on a yacht bigger than most people’s houses.
The ship is worth $300 million and is 287 feet long. Do you think it runs on solar panels? Probably not.
This is a boat that cannot run without its crew.
Hindustan Times reports:
Mark Zuckerberg’s $300m superyacht visual blasted as ‘a hideout for climate hypocrites’
Mark Zuckerberg’s latest status update screams real-world billionaire choice: a $300 million superyacht. One of the world’s richest men, the founder of Meta, whose net worth is estimated at $180 billion by Forbes, has spent a fortune on a superyacht he calls Launchpad. While the yacht itself looks like something out of a James Bond movie, with stunning features and cutting-edge technology, the internet isn’t cheering. Instead, critics slammed it as a “hideout for climate hypocrites”…
Mark Zuckerberg’s new yacht is causing a stir on social media after it went viral on TikTok for its stunning visuals. Currently docked in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the massive vessel makes no secret of its luxury. The 118-meter-long yacht first crossed the Atlantic in March 2024 and has been turning heads ever since. The $300 million superyacht was reportedly designed by Sweden’s Espen Øin International and features a “stylish multi-layered exterior, solid steel hull and aluminum superstructure.” Superyacht Times reports.

Hey, look, it’s Mark Zuckerberg’s yacht. I’m sure he’s helping plan this with Bill Gates flying a private jet. Instead, it’s all our fault. pic.twitter.com/PKhlEOe3M1
