Donald Trump has a big problem as a crowd estimated at 10,000 or more people showed up for Vice President Kamala Harris’ rally in Atlanta.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported:
Harris campaign officials said there were about 10,000 people on hand, which would make this the largest Democratic campaign event since Harris became the party’s presumptive nominee. About 3,000 people attended a rally for Harris in Wisconsin last week, shortly after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.
Exact numbers are hard to come by, but it will be the largest event Harris has attended since becoming the presumptive Democratic nominee last week.
Small donors have flooded the campaign with donations, with Harris’ presidential campaign raising more than $200 million in less than a week.
Polls show Harris’ approval rating in Georgia is tied with Trump’s, both at 47%:
NEW: Kamala Harris is doing better on swing state maps than Joe Biden is doing against Donald Trump.
