The Tesla Cybertruck’s massive windshield wipers won’t work for some people, and for others, it might be the reason they can’t pick up their car. Users on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum reported that Tesla has been delaying Cybertruck deliveries for a short period of time, with wiper issues apparently being the culprit.

Users who already own a Cybertruck have also reported wiper issues in the Cybertruck Owners Club. For example, one forum member reported on Friday that their wipers weren’t working after receiving their car, and Tesla said it would take “a few weeks” to replace the wiper motor. “My wipers never worked,” another said, adding that it took them two weeks to find replacement parts. (However, some users say their wipers work without issue.)
Driving a Tesla The report said the wiper motor failure “was an internal malfunction caused by the supplier’s quality issues.” Tesla did not respond to a request for comment but has closed its press room.
