The Sarkis also mentioned the requirements of their respective professions. According to the Houston Chronicle, L’Oreal is a professional fashion designer.
“Our commitments to our respective careers make it difficult for us to prioritize each other’s time, and this step will provide us with the necessary professional time and space while continuing to be supportive on a personal level.”

They ended their statement by thanking supporters and asking for understanding and privacy.
“While we appreciate all the love and encouragement we have received, we ask for your understanding and privacy during this transition as we begin this new chapter in our lives.”

Texas went 5-7 in 2021 under Sarkisian.
