Those seeking to undermine U.S. elections are exploiting three key issues. Threat actors will continue to evolve to evade the security and remediation measures established in response to last successful attacks – so expect a different scenario in 2024. A deterrent. Perpetrators behave differently when they know they are being watched.
The most important factor in the November 2024 elections will be citizen participation. For those who want election integrity, the best thing you can do is become a sworn election official and count votes behind the counter. How do you do this? Visit the website of your county, city, township, or any administrative agency in your state and register as a sworn election official. I have done this in many elections since 2000.
Because election laws vary in every state and in the approximately 3,300 counties and county equivalents across the country, it is difficult to provide tactical guidance on the specific circumstances of election misappropriation. But there are three problems that present opportunities for mischief that are common among those intent on holding an election. Arabella, Soros and China have the money to buy the election, but we have the majority of the population behind it.
States fail to verify that voters registered when they obtained driver’s licenses are legal voters
Common to many states is the failure of state and county officials to confirm the names of those seeking driver’s licenses who are eligible to vote in federal elections. County officials, often called “registrars,” are usually responsible, legal, sworn constitutional officers who ensure that voters are legal voters. National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA) (often called “car voters”) Registering to vote is a mandatory option when applying for a driver’s license in 44 states. The first line of most states’ driver’s license forms is a yes/no choice that selects whether the registrant wants to register to vote. Everything else on the form must comply with the RealID Act. The RealID Act would require identity documents such as passports to be difficult to forge. Perhaps that’s why the federal government allowed RealID compliance to be delayed until 2025.
As far as I know, there is no obvious process in any state where the county registrar has a trustworthy method or ability to ensure that names projected or shared from the state Department of Motor Vehicles database on the first line of the form are reviewed to ensure registration Voter legitimacy. When the county registrar obtains the name from the state DMV database, at least two basic facts need to be established – they must be a U.S. citizen (18 US Code § 611 – Alien Voting) or not yet a registered voter in another state .
The Republican National Committee (RNC) and state Republicans should require state election commissioners and county registrars to demonstrate credible processes to ensure proper verification that only federally eligible voters are registered in the Department of Motor Vehicles database with state and county voter rolls Transmitted in exchange. Local activists at the county or township level should form a citizen grand jury to force the registrar to demonstrate a credible process for vetting names in the DMV database. Transparency, accuracy and accessibility of electoral rolls
Electoral rolls are essentially repositories with no demonstrable process for verifying the authenticity and accuracy of authoritative sources. They are updated countless times a day, and no public official is held accountable for these issues. Often, these volumes are considered to have limited access or are very expensive to acquire. This is public information and should be available, accurate, and subject to a very nominal fee for access. Closely related to integrity is the ability to match delivery/mail in ballots with trustworthy ballots. Two things make a drop-in/mail-in ballot acceptable: an accurate ballot and a trustworthy ballot.
The Republican National Committee and state Republicans (or other national groups) should require state election commissioners and county registrars to demonstrate credible processes to ensure the accuracy of the rolls, appoint a legally accountable official, and operate at a reasonable cost. Illegal voting and inflated census counts
Biden’s strategy for illegal alien surge is to push them through the drive-in voter registration process. Without the legal ability to verify the names generated by the state DMV, illegal aliens seeking driver’s licenses will become part of the voter rolls. It’s a double factor—illegal immigrants are also counted by the weaponized Census Bureau, which drives the apportionment of House seats in Congress. Texas, Florida and other red states were stripped of multiple House seats due to false 2020 census counts. The Census Bureau is one of those obscure but well-armed government entities that must be de-weaponized.
This issue is in the national spotlight, and the Republican National Committee should spearhead a petition to force the Census Bureau to separate out illegal residents and use only legal citizens for the correct count in apportioning House seats and related matters. There are federal and national level issues, state issues, and county and local actions that need to be taken before November 2024. When it comes to election matters we must act like we are and it is imperative that we stop ranting on social media, put down that bowl of soup, get off the couch, get in the game and force action in your county/township elections Commission and Registrar of Elections. Also work behind the counter as an election official and count votes (this is not monitoring the polls – don’t waste your time on this rumor).
