Troubled former NBA guard Delonte West was spotted in a parking lot in Arlington, Virginia, looking in bad shape following his latest arrest.
A video obtained by TMZ Sports shows West, who played eight seasons in the NBA, including with LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers, stumbling across a parking lot in flip-flops after his arrest last week .
The 40-year-old man was arrested in Fairfax County after fleeing police who were trying to serve a warrant for violating the terms of his release, Fox 5 DC reported. When police found him, they injected him with an anesthetic at a hospital, TMZ Sports reported.

This isn’t West’s first run-in with the law, but photos of his arrest last week went viral because he looked unrecognizable in the photos.

West, a Washington, D.C. native, has been in the spotlight in recent years for all the wrong reasons. NBA fans have repeatedly worried about his health, as he has been seen in poor physical condition since leaving the NBA at the end of the 2011-12 season.

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban previously tried to get West, who is in his final season with the team, to spend 2021 at a rehab facility in Florida.
West reportedly had an argument in January 2020 when he accused a man of pointing a gun at him. At that moment, fans and former players alike were trying to “figure out” ways to help him, which led to Cuban trying to help.
West was also spotted walking without shoes in Houston in 2016, while having incidents at strip clubs and outside youth basketball games.
Fans are more worried about West becoming homeless after being spotted walking the streets in Maryland. However, West said at the time that he was not homeless, Complex reported.
West was drafted in the first round by the Boston Celtics in 2004 and played for the team for three seasons before being traded to the Seattle SuperSonics. He only lasted half a season with them before being transferred to the Cavaliers. He played two and a half seasons in Cleveland before joining the Celtics in the 2010-11 season.
