Lewandowski asked Trump to remind viewers of his remarks about Biden taking drugs and needing to take a drug test, and all he got from Trump was a few seconds of silence.

Where is Trump? It certainly sounds like there are no audio or technical issues. Lewandowski waited for Trump to speak, but he didn’t. Trump may have just pulled up Mitch McConnell and froze while talking about how Biden needed drugs to show up at the debate.
In the same interview, Trump claimed that he didn’t need to prepare for debates because he’d been preparing for them his whole life, which was just a lame excuse. As one student said: “I don’t need to study for a test because I study all my life.”
Republicans have warned Trump they fear he will collapse on the debate stage and that he shouldn’t be himself.
I think Republicans may be more concerned about whether memory and cognitive issues with Donald Trump’s reporting surface in the debate.
Something seems wrong with Trump. He seemed to have trouble getting a phone interview, with friendly media feeding him questions and answers.
