CNN reports:
The New York City Police Department is preparing to revoke former President Donald Trump’s gun license, a senior police officer told CNN.
…
The person added that two of the three handguns he was authorized to carry were turned over to the NYPD on March 31, 2023, and the third gun listed on Trump’s permit “has been legally transferred to Florida.” .
If Trump still possesses a third gun in Florida after being convicted of 34 felonies on May 30, 2024, he may be violating multiple state and federal laws. CNN has reached out to Trump’s representatives to determine if he still has a gun in Florida.
If Trump still owned a gun in Florida, he would be violating a host of gun laws, including federal gun laws, which is why Hunter Biden is currently on trial in Delaware.
Trump will not be allowed to own a gun because he is a convicted felon. Donald Trump seems like an unstable man, but the fact that he owns a gun is a chilling fact in itself.
Given Trump’s well-documented failure to turn over (confidential) records in cases when requested by the government, no one would be surprised if it turns out that he violated federal gun laws by still possessing a firearm after being convicted of 34 felonies.
